Spring 1st Half-Term Update
Reception have been exploring and celebrating Chinese New Year.
We have enjoyed tasting traditional Chinese New Year food and talking about the different flavours and similarities in food in different cultures.
We made our own dragons using red and yellow card, we learnt that red and yellow are considered lucky colours in Chinese culture. To complete our new learning we made cards, dragons and lanterns.
In the first part of the Autumn Term we have introduced “Numberland.”
Our Learners have adventured into “Marsden Numberland!”
Learners have enjoyed representing numbers from one to four, and exploring the shapes linked to the number.
